im such a dumbass

i got the genius idea of making the temp on my moms fridge and freezer (kenmore elite, digital display thing) colder, but i dont know what i did :(

now, when i press Refrigerator Temp, it lights up and says -6 37

same thing for the Freezer Temp button

when i press a button repeatedly, the right side of the display (the 37) changes and keeps going up

i dont know what i did. i dont know where her manual is. of course i called the customer service number and the techs are wont be there until 8am Central time

i feel like such an ass. can anyone help?

we have a samsung fridge, but it sounds like a similar display. the -6 is the freezer temp and the 37 is the fridge temp. if you keep pushing the fridge button, the temp will rise until a certain point and then cycle back down to the coldest temp. i would just keep pushing it until it gets back down to the coldest temp (ours is 34).

I looked online and I downloaded the manual but it still wasn't clear to me. Then I came here. I guess hysteria mode at 1 am is not my color

In any event , I realized that the temp only goes so far up and down, and I had put it on the coldest setting

Of course we lost power at 2:00
