People who only post about their pregnancy on Facebook
I have some friends who post status updates a few times a day and each and every post is related to their pregnancy! It annoyed me when I was going through infertility and it annoys me now! I'm sure they have other things going on in their lives? I'm sure I'll get a range of opinions on this lol, but what say you?

I have a friend like this now..I changed how I see her statuses...only urgent ones and since I'm sure not many people know how to make a status urgent...she's basically gone..that was not the only reason, but it was agitating..and I am not pregnant nor am I going through IF at the moment, but I know I wasn't like that pregnant..LOL

I guess it depends on how often she posts in general.
I guess pregnany is the biggest thing going on in her life and since it's on the top of her mind.... that's why she's posting mostly or only about it.
I would just try to be happy for her... if it really bothered me, i'd hide her status from my newsfeed or I'd just scroll right passed it.

I went to HS with a girl like this. It is NON STOP. Pictures, posts about what she's eating, about how long she sat in bed, how she's feeling, how often the baby kicks and my favorite... long winded syrupy posts about how blessed she is and how incredible of a journey it has been. I am convinced she thinks she's the first person to ever be pregnant. I keep my pregnancy related FB posts to a minimum since I know how annoying people find them. I think maybe I've made 4-5 total.

I don't get that at all either and I agree it's super annoying. When I was still on FB I never once posted a single thing about my pregnancy. I felt it was too personal to be putting it all out there for everyone and their mom to read but that's just me.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for her .. REALLY I am .. but lets face it, there's a difference between being happy for someone and needing to hear about every waking moment of a baby before it's born, and after.
Sometimes I want to be like. "I get it. you have a baby. it's cute. You need hobbies"

Omg sooo annoying. But i feel like that about anyone who posts too much about one thing: wedding plans, their kids etc.
i have one girl on mine that posted EVERY day about her upcoming wedding. Now that shes married, she posts solely about her comfy nights in pj's with her hubby, watching movies & eating take out. Me and another friend message each other all the time about it... im like, doesnt she work? Have a friend? Anything?
Now i have another girl who only posted about her son. Ever. Well now she's pregnant with twins, she made the fb announcement at 8 weeks and posts about it every few days. Im like, this is going to be the longest fb pregnancy everrr
i didnt post about my pregnancy on fb until i was 20 weeks - and since then, i can count on less than one hand how many times ive posted about it (and im overdue now)... but i generally post a lot. So i feel like the more u post, the more u can get away with posting about one particular subject.
i tell my girlfriend all the time - if i ever post about my pregnancy, baby, etc on overload - ***** SLAP ME! I sooo dont want to be THAT person.
yes, its exciting. Yes, fb is there to share your life. But theres more to life than any ONE thing.

Are you making fun of me?? ;) lol. I think people post about what's going on in their lives. I posted about being pregnant and how my life revolved around bed rest and how I was gonna get my hands in some panera. Now I post about my all time consuming babies. (And the storm like everyone else). I'm sure the baby posts will subside once I get into the groove. I also post in fb to cover all bases because if I don't I get 4000 texts and emails from people asking for updates and pics but I can't answer them all indivually.

BUT I do hide the super sappy people. They annoy me. Yes, obviously you think your kid is the best thing that ever happened to you. You should. No need to post about it every.single.day.

As a general rule I feel like if someone's post bother me then it is my problem and I should block them. I get annoyed when people complain about what others do on FB, block or defriend them, it is their FB and they can do what they want. I don't share much on FB and rarely post statues but that is MY choice. When I do share it is pics of my son and if that bothers someone that is THEIR issue, not mine.

It's definitely my problem but I just unblocked everyone that I've had blocked since doing IVF so I'd rather not. I was just wondering if others were as annoyed as I was or if I am being extra grumpy. I'm sure they have other things going on in their lives though....
