Anyone been to Cabo?

We have a time share at Playa Grande Resort and we've been there about 5 times. Pedregal is near our Resort. I like our resort a lot, we feel comfortable and we skipped this year, but going next year for 2 weeks. There are restaurants galore, there is no swimming in the ocean, but you can take water taxi to the bay in Cabo - which is nice. We started going in late Oct/early Nov b/c it is soo hot / too hot for me. However, since the turn of the economy you can see the effects in Cabo - we noticed it. we have! We stayed at the melia. A walk to down town area. Adult only. No swimming at the beaches. Get a hoel with a great pool. Do not get all inclusive as the food is great and super cheap outside the resorts!!!

We stayed at Marina Fiesta resort & spa. We really enjoyed it. The location is great, walk to everything: shops, , good restaurants, fishing boats at marina, high end stores, downtown, night life, Medano Beach, etc. The food was surprisingly good at the hotel also. Excellent service as well.
