CIO @ 6 months as recommended by the DR
Ugh gunna try this tonight if he wakes up for a bottle Usually wakes abt 3am. DR says it's habit & bad for their teeth to have a bottle (formula) on their teeth @night!

When DD started doing this, I would leave a small bottle with water in her crib (she was able to hold her own bottle). It totally worked! She'd cry, find the bottle, take a few sips and roll over and go back to bed.

Exactly, I did this with a soft spout sippy that didnt leak. At 2y I still keep water, because I too wake up thirsty at night and Im sure ds is just thirsty too.

we gradually reduced the ounces in that nighttime feeding before we did CIO. When he was down to 2 ounces and not finishing it all, we knew he was waking out of habit and for comfort.
good luck!

same here, our ped said to stop the night bottles after his goodnight one and do water as to not get bottle rot.

Idk to be honest. I think breast milk would be much better than formula on a babies teeth (as far as that part).
