Switch city mini double for Maclaren Double?
I'm thinking about switching my City mini double for a maclaren double. Reasons are that my kids are 3 1/2 and 17 months and i'm not sure i need such a bulky stroller anymore. We are also planing on going to Europe in August and can't see us traveling with the city mini. My daughter still stroller nap if we are on trips so i like the recline ablility of the Maclaren.
Does anyone have any thoughts on this??

check that your 3.5yo fits in the maclaren double. it's more narrow than the single maclaren.
My 3yo daughter didnt fit.
I ended up getting the joovy x3 because it fit her the best. She said all the other doubles were "too tiny"!

Re: Switch city mini double for Maclaren Double?
I went the other way. We started with the Maclaren double and went to the double city mini.
Our Maclaren frame bent. The double city mini is more durable and easier to fold. It is also wider.
I personally liked the way the maclaren looked much better but I find the city mini to be much more convenient. I don't think you can beat the easy fold. We take the double city mini on all our vacations.

My 2 year old boy's shoulders didn't fit.
Got the Joovy double also. Very comfy.

Same here, we have both but use the citi mini more. My kids hit each other, and can "walk" the maclaren bc it's small for them
