Girls named Becky, Becki, Becca?
If you are a Becky, Becki or Becca...
Which version of the spelling do you use?
Was it short for another name or your full name?
Did you like your name growing up?
Was your name ever teased? If so, how?

My friend is Becky and was called that since childhood.
Full name is Rebecca.
Some time around college, she wanted to be called Rebecca.
Now that we're a little older, a few people call her Reba.
Most still call her Becky.

I knew three Rebecca's growing up. I was supposed to be a Rebecca also, but my mom nixed it at the last minute and chose another R name. None of my friends were picked on, and I think all three liked it... though they each had very specific versions of the name that were acceptable to them.
- One was Rebecca. Heaven help you if you shortened her name.
- One was Becky.
- One was Becca. Heaven help you if you called her by her full name, lol.

Girls named Becky, Becki, Becca?
That is not my name, but i have three friends name Rebecca.
One goes strictly by Rebecca and she will correct you if you try to shorten in.
The other goes by Bec, Becky or Rebecca
The last used to go by Becky growing up (though highschool) then in college she decided it was too childish so she now goes by Rebecca or Becca...ive been friends with her since 7th grade (we are now in our 30s) so sometimes out of habit i call her becky and she will correct me.
I personally would not name a child becky, becca or becki...i would pick rebecca and then as they grow up they can determine which nickname/spelling they like.

My daughter is named Rebecca. We either call her Rebecca or Becca. No one calls her by anything else.
She seems to really like it, although she is only 4!

My sister's middle name is Rebecca, and she goes by Becky. (Doesn't really use her first name at all)

that is not my name but i think it is pretty.
i would name her Rebecca and then shorten it to one of those nicknames for every day use.
