Home buying roller coaster

Dh and I feel like we have been on a runaway roller coaster ride...In the past several weeks we have put offers in on three different properties all have been accepted initially and as of today two have fallen through after we have been told the paper work is being sent to our attorney. We just came to an agreement with a property we spent a long time negotiating with...the agent has given us her word that she is not entertaining any other offers. Our attorney is suppose to get the contract first thing Monday. Wish me luck. I did not realize how crazy this process could be...Our agent said he has had all of the same issues in the past but never all of the the issues with the same buyers.

We had some crazy situations come up too and in the end the house that worked out was the beat one of them all. It will all come together. Good luck!

Same thing with us. I kind of just said whatever happens, happens for a reason. Which we always ended up finding houses better afterwards anyways....so your house will come eventually..

Same thing with us as well - went through 2 houses -- first one was with an attorney that literally did not know what they were doing (from sellers side), we went back and forth on contract for almost a month. Second home had no offers for 6 months, the night we go to put an offer on it, someone else comes in and swoops it. In the end, I am ridiculously happy that none of them worked out because we are now waiting to close any day now on a home that literally checks off everything on our list.

Hang in there - you'll find the home!
