Are you still eating rice?
So with this whole arsenic in rice scare I am afraid to eat it. Then I think about how everyone has been eating it all along, so is it really that bad? Maybe it's ok in moderation? I'm just really not sure how to feel about it. Being pregnant makes me even more afraid to eat it. We usually have Chinese food (I get General Tso's Chicken, super healthy, I know  ) once every week or two but I haven't had it since the arsenic thing came out. Would you still eat it occasionally? What is your take on rice?

Im still eating it. Just heard about this last week and feel like I have been eating it all along. I guess if its from a reputable place I don't see why not.. I feel like there is something to be said about every food these days, lol.

I didn't even know there was an issue with rice 
At this point if we all avoided everything that people claimed there was an issue with we would be down to bottled water, saltines and prenatal vitamins.
Everything in moderation.

I didn't even know there was an issue with rice
At this point if we all avoided everything that people claimed there was an issue with we would be down to bottled water, saltines and prenatal vitamins.
Everything in moderation.
I'd be down to just water!!! with my Celiac I cn't have most prenatal or saltines!!! Rice is my savior!

It never was and probably still might not be. Recently they came out saying rice has arsenic in it, I believe from the soil it's grown in, not like they are adding it in. I admit I haven't done a ton of research on this but what I heard is it's in just about all rice and brown has more than white. I don't know if it's really a big deal or not. I know people are concerned about giving babies rice cereal now though.

I havent heard about this at all. I dont eat rice often enough for this to be an issue so im still going to eat it

I still eat it. I usually only eat rice when I get Chinese/Thai food which apparently wasn't part of the arsenic scare. But, if I wanted regular rice, I'd probably eat it anyway. At almost 32 weeks, I'm starting to get tired of trying to abide by so many rules!

I only eat brown rice. At this point I'm pretty far into my pregnancy that it prob doesn't matter if I eat some of the forbidden foods...
