Switching from lovenox to heparin.....
Making the switch on sat at 36 weeks and found out I'm going to go from 1lovenox shot a day to 3 heparin shots a day......every 8 hours Anyone else been through this?

I went from one Lovenox shot per day to 2 heparing shots per day.

Yes. Heparin has a shorter half life which is why they switch you to it. I have to take it 3x a day.

Switching from lovenox to heparin.....
what was your lovenox dose? mine was 30mg once a day and then i was switched to heparin twice a day. heparin is always going to be a minimum of twice a day because it has half of the half life of lovenox which is why you are switched to it at the end; in case of delivery they want it to wear off as soon as possible.
