Can someone just pick a glider for me?!
-No more than $300
-Espresso wood, light brown (khaki?) upholstery
-I don't care where it's from
-The back has to be tall because we are both tall, and not too narrow
-Include an ottoman, preferably
I'm afraid to get anything on Walmart because I dont know if it's going to be good quality and everything at BBB is out of my price range.

I love my Shermag glider from Babies R Us. It has all the things you asked for.
I liked it so much, I'm buying a separate one for my DD's room, since we still use the one in my son's room.
Shermag glider/ottoman combo
I'm getting a white one this time, but the one in my son's room is dark espresso wood with light cream fabric.

They should have them on display in their stores (the bigger stores at least), so you can try it out. Hope you like it!

I don't know how soon you want it but I got a great deal on mine during Black Friday 2 years ago. If you can hold out, you might want to wait until then and see if you can find any good deals. I got it from BRU and I admit it was a hassle, but we did get the chair in the end and saved $200 on it. I love it to this day.

I would highly suggest sitting in them. While they all look similar they do not all feel the same. i went and sat in all of them at BBB and then found it much cheaper at Overstock.com

That's a good idea too
I've sat in so many dumb gliders. It's so overwhelming the amount of choices out there.

That's a good idea too- it's cutting it a little close but I'll talk to DH about it (since he's the one who'd be going  )

crashing, but Cate- this is the one we got:
Dutailier Ultramotion Sleigh Glider and Ottoman
It's from Buy Buy Baby and it was $399 (for both glider and ottoman) which I know is over the price you said, but I believe that my dad was able to use the 20% off coupon when he bought it which saved $80 so it wouldn't be too much over your $300 max.
It's super comfy and got great reviews in the Baby Bargains book!
