CPR Class?

Did you/will you take a CPR class? I was thinking of registering for the one at Mt. Sinai, (that is where I'm delivering) has anyone else been to that one? Or one they really liked??

Has anyone else taken any other classes they liked? I was also thinking of doing a "Caring for Newborn" class. DH has never in his life even been around a baby other than the 4x he's seen his niece so I thought it might be a good idea, especially for him with diaper changing, bathing etc. considering he has never done any of those things.

I just took a infant class this past Saturday. I really thought it was helpful especially for DH who has not been around babies. I am taking a CPR class as well. Both are through Winthrop Hospital and held at Destination Maternity in Garden City. I think its a good thing to know.

I took a CPR class through Winthrop and thought it was really helpful.

Last night we took an infant care class as well because my husband has very little experience with babies and is a little nervous about it. The class went over basics like bathing, diapering, temp taking etc., it was actually helpful and my DH diapered the doll like a pro!

We took a CPR class through North Shore. I'm glad we did. We didn't take any infant care classes (just a breastfeeding one). I didn't think it was necessary. They really show you everything you need to know in the hospital, diapering, swaddle, bathing, etc.
