Tea question!
What are the do's and don'ts on tea? Can I have green tea or herbal tea? I have such a bad cold and I want some tea!! lol

Tea question!
I drink tea every day. I don't drink green tea because I've read that it can interfere with the absorbtion of folic acid. There are certain herbal teas that are ok, and some that are not. I don't know the whole list. I generally drink plain decaf tea, lemon tea, mint tea, or decaf spiced chai tea. A cup of regular tea is fine as long as you don't overdo it.

I have tea. My MW said that they're all fine in moderation. Feel better!

If you read the studies, you'd have to drink 6+ cups a day to affect folic acid absorption. Green tea has a lot of benefits, so if you want to have a cup a day, it's ok.

Tea question!
I didn't drink any during the 1st trimester; but now a few days shy of my 3rd trimester I have an occiasional cup here & there. Maybe about 1-2 in a week. Ususally Lemon Herbal Tea
