I'm scared to make it official but I have a question...

On Friday I got my BFP. I wasn't going to cross over to the board until after our first dr appt on Nov 16th but I already need the help of you girls. I had a mc back in August and we are TERRIFIED this one won't last either. I'm only 3 weeks and 4 days. At moments I'm excited and want to scream it from the rooftops and other times I'm holding my belly asking it to please stick!

Since last week I have been having this itching. It's on the outside so I don't think it's a yeast infection (although who knows). At night it's worse. I was looking up things it could possibly be and I came across "thrush". It says 1 in 5 women get it and it can happen in pregnant women. It's driving me INSANE!!!! I made a dr appt for today but wanted to see what you girls have to say.

Also, does anyone have insomnia with their pregnancy this early? I seriously CANNOT sleep! I took a benedryl last night but I don't want to do that every night. Is there anything else I can take? I toss in turn for hours and DH is going to kill me if I keep that up!

You are probably 4w4d. if you were 3w4d you would have ovulated 4 days ago (approximately). timing of pregnancy goes from your last AF so technically you are two weeks pregnant before you ovulate (which is silly but that's how it works).

honestly your symptoms at this point might not be pregnancy related (unless your dating off). you should absolutely see a doctor for the itching, who knows what it can be. stay off google, it wont help. good luck

i had a yeast infection very early on and the dr prescribed me something for it....so im sure they will take care of you at todays appt. its very common

in terms of insomnia early on...yup had that too!!! its all nerves...its your body being excited, scared, etc. even though you dont realize it your mind is probably going crazy and that is why you cant sleep. i dont have advice for you on how to get past it...i just did. i honestly think i started to sleep better once i had my first sono at week 7. i tried to just watch mindless tv before bed so that my mind wasnt thinkign about anything

Thanks girls! Went to the dr. They confirmed with urine that I am pregnant and I just got my blood work and it came back positive as well! Made me feel a lot better! Now I just have to make it a week in Rivera Maya next week without anything happening. They actually said because my test came up BFP SO early I might be further along then we think. Won't know until Nov 16 though when I have my appt with the dr for the pregnancy.

Anyway, ends up I have a yeast infection. UGH! I'm on Monistat 3 and I have to use the cream and inserts (can't use the pill when pregnant).
