Lupron Depot
Anyone do lupron depot for 3 months? What did you do it for?
(FYI: this is different use than the lupron protocol used in a regular IVF cycles).

I did it right after my lap surgery and he wanted me to heal before we started ivf.the hot flashes were out of the world! I accidentally took a extra dose so oct and November I took it...I didn't get my period until June! But I honestly loved it!

MRSadenosine-Glad you got some relief and sorry to hear about your cycle.
They think I might have adenomyosis (endometriosis in the muscle wall of the uterus). but, I don't have any symptoms. Doing an MRI next week, which should be able to tell me something. From some research I have done on LD...it seems to help with success 50% of the time. I'm usually on the wrong side of the stats. But, it might be the only thing left I have not done yet.

I only did lupron for an IVF cycle. I took it for 2 weeks prior to stims and for a week in a half while stimming for suppression. The hot flashes were bad. I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!

i did 1 shot a month for 3 months after my lap surgery.
this was for endo.
timeline was like this:
2 clomid iuis- nov and dec 2010- failed
lap surgery was jan 2011
lupron was feb mar apr 2011
got my period in june 2011
injectible iui in july 2011- FAILED
iaugust - ivf#1 - twins!
bfp sept 2 2011
born apr 19 2012!
