If you have/had an anterior placenta...
When did you start feeling your baby move? I'm 22w2d and still haven't felt a thing. Everyone keeps saying its bc I have an anterior placenta, but my BFF also has an anterior placenta and she started feeling her baby at 18w and her husband started feeling movement from the outside at 22w. Sonograms have been fine, with lots of movement and heartbeat is always strong so I know everything is fine, but I can't stand not feeling my baby when everyone else does by now.

If you have/had an anterior placenta...
I have an anterior placenta and had high amniotic fluid. My husband felt her for the first time at 34w. I started feeling little movements when I went to bed around 27 w and really started feeling her around 33 but really only early am and when settling in for bed unless music with a lot of bass is on. It stinks not feeling her

Re: If you have/had an anterior placenta...
You will feel the baby more as he/she gets bigger and stronger. Both of my twins have anterior. I felt one for the first time at 18w for a few seconds but didn't even know what it was. It felt like gas bubbles. I think I started feeling them more at 28 w. I feel them a lot now. They go NUTS in there. But its not totally consistant throughout the day. There are a lot of times when they are doing a sono and the tech tells me the babies are moving so much thats its hard to get readings on them and I don't feel them at all. Or that they have hiccups and I don't feel that. I've only felt hiccups a few times from each. Even now I feel kicks and rolls, but it's never jabbing kicks since they are kicking the placenta like a pillow and not kicking me directly.

20w with DD1, and 18w with this baby. I didn't start feeling them throughout the day until 24/25w though.

I could have written this word for word! I am 34 weeks now with twins but I don't feel them that much. My DH has only felt them a few times. Its funny how much I see them move on the sonos but I never feel it like that.

If you have/had an anterior placenta...
I had an anterior placenta with my first pregnancy. While I felt the baby at around 20 weeks, it was light and not consistent for a few more weeks. However, it was not nearly as much as with my later pregnancy, and not nearly as much as was actually happening. I had an emergency appointment at 28 weeks because I couldn't feel any movement. I drank juice, ate cookies, and still nothing. Went to the OB, and on the U/S, she was kicking away. There was one big kick, and I felt nothing. I felt the rolls and moving more than the kicking. With my second pregnancy, I didn't have anterior placenta, and felt everything. It was a world of difference. I started feeling her before 16 weeks, and always felt movement.

Mine like to STOP moving as soon as I tell DH or anyone to feel. (fresh lol) But they roll so much that my belly moves and he can see it. They have times when they jump so much that I rub my belly and talk to them to calm them as I would if they were born already. I feel bad because I think they just have no room now and get pissed off they can't get comfy.
Then there are times DH claims to feel kicks I don't feel

This was pretty much me. I NEVER really felt kicks. I felt some rolls and flutters-but that's about it. I felt maybe 2-3 kicks the entire pregnancy. DH never was able to feel her from the outside, I never saw movement on my belly. It was pretty much like not being pregnant- felt more like gas! I remember the same thing- HUGE kick on the sono and the tech would be like WHOA did you feel that? I'd be like- feel what? It was so strange.

Same with me and I went to L&D twice because of "not feeling" the baby in the last 3 weeks. My husband is a NICU doctor and sometimes fears the worst, so when I said I hadn't felt the baby he made us go get checked. Thankfully, she was moving around alot, I just didn't feel it! This time around I have a posterior placenta I still didn't really notice the baby till 20 weeks, but now it feels as if I'm getting beat up! Not sure which placenta position I liked better, haha.

I have anterior placenta, and started feeling LO sporadically around 23 weeks, but it didn't get consistent until 26 - 27 weeks.
