Frye boots
Which style is your favorite? I'm considering asking DH for the Melissa Button in black for my birthday, but am open to other ideas. Also open to different brands.. I'm just partial to Frye because I have three pairs already and love them all.

I got these for myself and I love them.

Mine are a crackled brownish grey...they are the perfect mixture of bad-a$$ and boho. That color sounds awesome. I want to get a shorter harness boot, like maybe the 9"

Frye boots
I have two pairs- one is a lace up pair (Sabrina 6G lace up in walnut) and the other are these awesome limited edition hand tooled cowboy boots (Leanne tooled in cognac).
I think I am going to ask for another pair for christmas...I am looking at the Corby side zip in cognac and the Lucinda short in Whiskey.
I love the Melissa back button but they are way too wide for my skinny calfs.

My SIL just picked up a pair or Dorados for me, she works at Saks. I could never afford to pay full price for boots right now. I have seriously tried on 50 pairs of boots in the past two years and never found a pair that fit my calves. These fit perfectly, luckily this find aligned with employee appreciation week.

IMO they run true to size.. I'm an 8 regularly and also in Frye boots. They are very stiff when you first put them on, so you might not think they fit, but they stretch out pretty quickly.

I have the paige in black I love them. That pair ran a bit small on me, took a few weeks to break in, but fit great now 5 years later! I really want the carson for christmas!

If you have time you should take a trip to the Frye store in Soho they have all of the boots there and a few pairs that are only sold there. The staff is great and will help you find the perfect pair of boot...the cashiers and manager can be a bit snobby but they are easily ignored.
