1st Ivf not going as I hoped
I am so frustrated and concerned about how my 1st Ivf is going and since it will be the only one covered I am freaking out. I have been on stims for 9 days and they only see 8 follicles and only 3 can be measured. My left ovary is barely producing anything which I knew would prob happen bc it has an endometrioma on it but it is still upsetting!!!!! They do not seem overly concerned there but I am just not confident. I know it only takes 1 but I was really hoping to get a lot from this. Every time I leave the doc I feel more upset. Just needed to vent and hoping someone maybe had similar story

If you're only covered for one cycle of IVF and this isn't going ideally, then you can always convert it to IUI and try again. Maybe they need to make some more diagnostic efforts, surgically clean up the endometrioma, etc. before you use this one shot. And if your doc is handling your legitimate worries with a shoulder shrug, you have a right to question that too.
You always have options. Sorry this has been such a worrisome cycle. I have definitely been there as far as fretting over response

Dont stress you body out anymore than you already are...im sure they will stim you for a few days longer and as long as you have follies over 15mm then you'll have mature eggs to work with...it does only take one...

Are they adjusting ur meds as they monitor you? Maybe a different dosage would give u better results? 8 follicles is not bad....a few days can make a big difference the small ones may catch up! I stimmed for almost 11 days and I also had 2 endometriomas on one of my ovaries. Good Luck

ita with this..i was just a slow responder and it took longer with stims for me
