Who did you use for newborn pics? Was it less than $500?
And yes I recognize that $500 could be what someone pays and receives 20+ pictures, or it could be the amount of just a sitting fee and 10 pics...
Just want to see what's average price that people spend.
I was originally going to book with 1 person, but got a better deal elsewhere...and wanted to see if what I'm paying is the 'norm.'
ETA: You can fm me if you feel more comfortable. Would also love to know if you were happy or disappointed in the photography/photographer. Thanks!

I got a few different quotes, the majority was for just under $500. the average was for between $300-$450 for having a guaranteed 30 pics and high res digital image of it.
There are a few that ranged from $600-$1000+ but they were way our of my price range.
It all really depends on what you want and if you want physical prints out of it or the digital images or both.
We wanted the digital images, may order a few prints from them but I know where to order great prints from.

My package is $495. It includes a disc of all the edited images, 3 8x10's, 2 5x7's, and 2 mini-accordion albums.
I desperately wanted to book with Leslie Simmons but her prices were out of my budget. IMO she is totally worth it but I just couldn't do it...my husband was not having it.

i booked with AJ Nick and am paying $250 - that includes a cd of the edited images (minimum 20-25)

I used Tanner Jones Photography. Some pic in my album. He offered prints, but I just wanted the CD and he had no problem with that.

we just ended up getting some pictures done with the photographer winthrop has at the hospital.....we packed a bow and a blanket to change up the photos.
It ended up being $120 - It has 12 photo sheets - we mixed 8x10's, 2 5x7's, 9 wallets, 4 3.5x5's....
