what goes in the recycling bins?
what can i actually put in the recycling bins?
i know i can put plastic or glass bottles, soda cans, nonperishable food cans ...
can i also put cardboard boxes?
anything else i'm missing?

what goes in the recycling bins?
I think it varies by town. You can probably find out about your town online. I'm in Brookhaven and we can pretty much only do glass, cans, and only #1 & 2 plastic. Cardboard and paper goes out a separate week.

Varies by town. In my town, you can pretty much put everything in. Plus, it all goes into the same container - so easy!

In nyc for paper it says if you can rip it you can recycle it, so thats a lot of things,..not sure about l.i.
