Getting my hurr did- Question?
I have a wedding to go to next Friday. I'm really excited about it- really off beat/vintage vibe and it's going to be SO much fun. I bought a really cute dress to wear and I kinda wanted to have my hair done in the old Hollywood finger waves kinda look. But first I really need a cut/color. I have off Thursday and Friday so I could potentially go on Thursday for a cut/color and then go Friday morning to get my hair done. But I really don't want to. My salon is only a few blocks from me, but I'd rather get it all done in one shot. The couple provided a cheese bus for guests to take to the church then reception and back and that leaves at 2:30 PM from about 20 minutes away from my house. So my question is this- first, is it ridiculous to get a cut/color/style done all in one day? I don't really mind the cost, my salon is reasonable and I need the cut/color anyway. Second, what time should I make an appointment for on Friday if I do decide to do it all at once?

Totally do it all at once. Let's say you need to be ready by 2....I would suggest the earliest appointment possible - maybe a 9am or 9:30.

Oh good! I didn't want to be the crazy PITA person sitting at the salon for 5 hours, but I think I'm going to be. At least they know me really well there. Yeah they open at 9, so I know I can go in then.

they might not want you to do it all in one day - for some styles, the hairdresser prefers your hair to be "dirty" (ie not freshly washed, cut, blow dried) because the styles stay in better. i'd check with them about that.
