18 month old question
Do you let your lo play in their crib alone with some toys for a few mins-whlle your in the next room? Need a few mins to get something done.

yes!!!! at 18 months, my son was up in his crib, playing for 30+ minutes in the AM before we would go in to get him. I see no difference.

Yes...I let my almost 16 month olds play in their crib with a few toys every morning....usually for 30-60 minutes. They love it and it helps them wake up. It also gives my husband and I time to get up, make coffee, get breakfast started, he gets ready for work, etc.

18 month old question
Yes, on top of her crib rails she has books, some little FP toys, etc. she wakes up and plays with her toys/books every morning by herself. That 30 mins allows me to shower and get ready for work.

Oh how I wish mine would do that...she hates being in her crib, always has.
But I will say with DD#1, I did it all the time :)
