Where should I look for a petite dress? Updated with some dress choices
I unfortunately don't fit into anything already in my closet (10lbs on a 5'1 person translates to 25 on anyone else, apparently!). I need something to wear to my daughter's blessing (think cross btw baby naming and christening).

Thanks all! I had forgotten about WHBM! I had checked my standards - Banana, Nordstrom, Loft. Any thoughts on these?

i'm in a field where i don't really have to wear dresses but i know petite dresses can be found at ann taylor, loft, banana republic, gap.
i personally like to shop at bloomingdales, lord and taylor and neiman marcus and the outlets for dresses.

AT, ATL or Banana.
I'm also 5'1" and had about that much to lose around DS christening. I bought a wrap dress from Banana and it worked well bc it was flattering then but still worked well when i lost the weight.

I agree with the other posters Ann Taylor, the Loft, Banana and I would add to the list White House Black Market.

The Gap has almost the same sheath dress as you posted from Ann Taylor for $59.95 and there is 25% off today.
I'm wearing to work today and love it! It is the most vibrant blue and has 2 cute little pockets.
Also, try Jcrew and Nordstrom for petities.
