I hate all baby bedding!
I thought what I'd want was simple but everything comes in sets of extra stuff that I dont like or need. All I want are sheets and crib skirts. I'd like a print if possible, polka dots or squiggly lines in primary colors but every sheet I find doesnt sell a complementing or matching skirt. I've looked on every website imaginable and I don't understand why its just me having this problem. Is it just me? (i know, first world problems  )

Oh my god my brother and SIL got the cutest stuff for baby G at Pottery Barn kids. All individual sheets, no sets, and it was such adorable stuff! Let me find the links he sent me (because obvs I wanted to see everything baby-related) and I'll send them to you!

This was me too! I ended u getting stuff from babybedding.com. Not sure if you tried there. I got the skirts (custom), sheets, crib blankets (as opposed to a comfortor) and a diaper holder. It was $$ but I didn't care and needed something and hated it all.

I hate all baby bedding!
I had such a hard time with bedding as well! I finally found something and then it was discontinued. I really like the stuff on pottery barn for simple patterns and polka dots.

the only bedding i liked was over $400. I looked everywhere and still didnt like anything. I refused to spend that kind of money on a set, but in the end i ended up buying it with gift cards and store credits. i realized that i wouldnt be happy unless i had it, lol.

i like some stuff on baby bedding.com but i feel funny spending $94 on one crib skirt lol
I never looked on etsy though. baby bedding.com will be my fall back.

I hate all baby bedding!
I ordered ours from RH Baby and Child. It's very basic and we are just getting the bumper, skirt and a fitted sheet. All of their sets are pretty simple.

What about cheaper places like walmart or kmart? you might not need a super soft crib skirt and could get nicer sheets elsewhere to match

Oh no you are not alone. I hate all the matching sets. They drive me nuts. Not my style at all. All I wanted was a quilt and some sheets. I finally found ones I loved on Pottery Barn. Etsy and baby bedding.com had a lot of awesome stuff. They are priced pretty high, but I always felt if you splurged on the quilt/blanket then you can pair it will cheaper sheets.

I got 700 blankets for my shower, so even if it matched, I wouldnt need it.

One word - etsy! You can have a crib skirt made, you can pick your fabric and everything!!!!
I had my whole set custom made because I didnt see anything I liked either! It did not end up costing that much either!

I didn't use etsy but instead found a local lady to make everything. I did however scour etsy for yellow and gray bedding ideas and also for fabric. I ordered some fabric swatches from fabric.com and then settled on 2 patterns I liked and had the lady make it!

I think the cost of bedding is ridiculous, and you can't even use most of the pieces! I'm going to pick out a crib skirt in a neutral color for a low price and one of those breathable bumpers and then get accessories separately that complement one another. There's so many cute crib sheet designs out there - why be tied to a "set"?

Cate- I hated everything too! I ended p with the most obscure discontinued set from Brandee Danielle called flower medley or floral medley! Couldn't even register for it right since it's only on Wayfair... crazy. My grandma ended up getting it for me!

I bought separates from babybedding.com. I got curtains and a crib skirt and uaed breathable bumpers, very happy with my purchase! I hated all other bedding!!!
