BF-ing a 2 month old
How many times a day did your 2 month old eat? Mine is still doing 10 feedings, which averages to about every 2.5 hours. I'm trying to make her go longer stretches between feedings, what is a doable amount?

BF-ing a 2 month old
At 2 months old I was still feeding my little guy every 2 hours. He began lasting a little while longer at 3 months. GL!

Re: BF-ing a 2 month old
DS did the same until recently!! Just started oatmeal 2 weeks ago, and it was the only thing that helped. I really wanted to try to hold off on solids until 6 months, but hes just a hungry baby (he's 17 weeks) He's going usually 4 hours now. Just try to keep him entertained in between, play with him a lot. Other than that, i dont think theres much you can do.

BF-ing a 2 month old
DD nursed every 2 hours until about 5 months old. She briefly went to 3 hours around 2 months but that didn't last long at all. Now at 5.5 months she's up to 3-4 hours. I always took her cues and nursed as often as she wanted to. I think it really depends on the baby and mom and even then it can change from time to time.

I always just fed on demand, but by 2 months, both my boys were having 5 feedings, averaging around every 3-3.5 hours.

Re: BF-ing a 2 month old
At 2 months I was lucky to get 2 hours from the start of one feeding (that lasted 40 minutes) to the start of the next one. (usually had about 1 hour between feedings). He went longer then that at night though (usually ate 1- 3 times overnight)
