friends at work?
Are you friends with any of the people you work with? As in, do things together in your spare time behind a happy hour drink or something of the like? Text, talk on the phone, etc.
I've become friends with a few girls I work with, one of whom has become a very good friend to me. DH is skeptical, but has absolutely nothing to go on, couldn't even explain why.

friends at work?
The majority of my friends have been co-workers I have had at one point or another. We still get together and go out. I consider them my closest friends.

I married my "Co-worker" We met at a retail store, the dynamics may be a little different, but we've been married four years, friends for 10 years, and I am still best friends with someone I met there as well. I see that job as my place to meet my DH and my best friend!

I have one person at work who I consider a true friend & would stay close with even if we didn't work together anymore.

I have a few that we become closer after travelling together (obviously we were friends before, but we have so much fun together, we started going on trips and became much close)

A few people, yes. I am very close with two people here, and there is a handful of folks here who I hang with regularly outside of work.
We get lots of free Broadway tickets here, so it's pretty normal for a bunch of us to sign up for the same night to see a show and we'll grab drinks and some munchies before a show.

when I worked in an office, yes...I'm still friends with them two years after our office closed 
but now - no, I'm not friends with the people I work with. I don't trust most people that work in my industry and keep to myself.

At my old job, yes.
At my new job, yes.
It's definitely a fine line, but it can be done. I haven't had a bad experience with becoming friends with anyone I work with.

I work in HR so it's a little tricky. I have found that there are a few people I have been close with while working at certain places but after I have left I have become closer with them.

I married someone I work work with. Other than DH I have a few work friends that I will meet up with outside of work from time to time.
