1st monitoring appt- so disappointed!
I have been on 300 of follistim and 150 menopur for 3 days and went this morning for sono and NOTHING!!!!! I am so upset! I hope I am not doing this all for nothing. I know I have endo so thinking it will make me a slow responder but I am nervous I will do this all and hardly get any eggs. They upped my meds to 300 follistim and now 300 menopur. Anyone slow to start and then catch up??? Need some positive stories!

were you suppressed on BCP first? i get very suppressed very easily with BCP and it always takes a few extra days to stim right after. i pretty much had the same experience, after 3 days I had really nothing to count and my e2 was pretty low. i ended up stimming for 13 days but we retrieved 18 eggs that were all mature. sometimes slow and steady wins the race!! hang in there. good luck!

1st monitoring appt- so disappointed!
Not sure what my experience was like compared to others, but there was nothing to measure the first day I went in. I had 49 measurable follicles about a week later. They say usually it takes like 8-10 days. I believe mine was 10 days.

Oh, it's so early! By 3rd day of stims they can barely tell the difference between a growing follie and an antral follie. Give it time.

I had nothing measurable at 3 days, but had 15 eggs retrieved after only 8 days of stims. It goes very quickly. Don't worry. It's much better to have them all grow at the same rate - better chance of having more mature together, rather than just a few lead follies.

It's still very early. In my experience I stimmed for 12 days and I started to notice growth more towards the end... around day 9-12. Remember it's quality of quanity. You don't want them to grow too fast too soon.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!
