Ideal start-time for a 2nd birthday party?
I'm planning my DS 2nd birthday party. I'm pretty sure I'm going to do it on Saturday, 12/8. My DS usually naps between 1-3. Would 3pm be too late for a 2nd birthday party? Parents and siblings are invited too and we will be serving an early dinner. Thoughts?

We did DS 2nd at 2:00, I don't think 3 is late, esp for a Sat.

We're planning DS 2 nd bday party for 4 PM on a Saturday... So I don't think 3 is too late  especially with nap time to think about!

I agree, 3 isn't too late.
I always prefer a late party so I don't have to rush around in the morning (and I have time to buy a card on the way  )

I think saturday mornings are the best times for birthday parties with a start time between 10 and 11.
3 or 4 start time seems to be the second most popular.

I agree with this! IMO, I would prefer to go to an earlier birthday party this way I have the rest of the day open for whatever I need to get done since I am a FTWM and need to run errands and things on the weekend.
