Thoughts on First Bday Shoot~

My little guy will be one next month and we're contemplating his first pro-shoot.

Curious to hear how many of you did one or will do one -- Im undecided as to whether its worth the money.

Were you and your husband in some of the shots?

Where did you have it?

Did you bring/use props?

And, if we do move fwd w/ one, then there's the question of who do we book for a fall shoot?

We did a newborn photo shoot for our DD. DH didnt care if we did it or not and then afterwards said that was the best money we spent. So, needless to say we are having a 1st bday shoot too. I'll answer your questions for her 1st bday shoot.

Where did you have it? We will be going to the Queens Botanical Gardens

Did you bring/use props? We will be bringing a few props.

There are tons of suggestions on here within a variety of price ranges. We got an awesome deal on living social, so we are giving someone new a try.

We used picture people and were very happy with their services. We go back to them every year to have holiday photos done. I feel that they are priced reasonably and give a good product. I am sure you can go to other private vendors who will do a good job as well. We use the props they have. I get to do an outfit change as well. If you bring a coupon then it is less expensive.

yes we did one for each of my boys!!! It was only them. They only turn 1 once! Totally worht it IMO
