NT Scan (update w/pic)

I am waiting to be called in for my NT Scan. So excited to see baby, it has been too long. Chat Icon
What should i expect? Can they tell me anything now, ot not until the 2nd part?

Good luck!!

After the scan, they'll tell you about the measurements. But you won't get the blood results until 5 - 7 days letter (depends on your doc).

Chat Icon GOOD LUCK!!!!!

If you have a nice tech they might tell you what the NT measurment was... of if youre looking you might be able to see when they do it... they will also look at the nasal bone...

Oh my goodness, that was the longest ultrasound, but I loved every minute of it. Chat Icon

Baby was not cooperating at first, but the tech (who I LOVED) jiggled my stomach a little and it sent the baby into a frenzy. It moved around, stretch the legs and moved the little hands.

Everything looks great. The measurements of the back of the neck looked great, I am way below the guidelines for risk of Down's. Chat Icon

My only suggestion is to pee right before your scan. The tech had to push on my belly, being that baby wasn't too cooperative at first. So if I wouldn't have peed it would have been uncomfy. Also be sure to ask any questions you may have. I kept asking, "is that normal...is it supposed to look like thst/do that.." Good luck and enjoy every minute!
