Smoke dectectors
Does anyone know the code in NY? Does there have to be one in every room or just every floor
Does anyone know or know where to look for alarm code in CT?

I believe there has to be 1 on every floor + 1 in every bedroom.

Smoke dectectors
NYS: There needs to be a hard-wired smoke detector w/ battery back-up in each bedroom and at least one on each floor's hallway/stairwell. It's also a good idea to have CO detectors.
