Random Question: Stopping strangers to ask...
If you randomly see a stranger wearing, for example, a pair of shoes you just love and have to have  ... Do you stop and chat them up and ask where they got them? Or admire silently from afar?

I just did this.
I was on the train recently and the woman in front of me had on a pair of flats I loved.
I asked her about them and she gave me the info.
I looked them up right there on my iPad. But at $175 a pair I decided against them.
These were the flats:

Always silently from afar. I always come THIS CLOSE to tapping them and saying something, but chicken out at the last second. It's always on the subway and people are mean and in a hurry.

I ask because recently a woman who was dining at the table next to us at a restaurant had on THE MOST gorgeous pair of sandals... I wanted so badly to ask her where she got them, but thought it might be strange to ask so I didn't... Now I'm kicking myself for not asking lol

I stop them and ask, always. I also often randomly compliment strangers on something I like, their hair or accessories, whatever. I just think it’s nice & the person always gets a big smile so I always think it prob brightened their day a little
