Jordana and I are going to a wedding in Cali in 2 weeks. It will be pretty cool temps because it is on a cliff overlooking the beach and the ceremony is outdoors. Any suggestions on where I can buy her a dress. I am in Manhattan and I have alredy checked babygap and children's place. Thanks!!!
ETA: already been to Bloomies

Re: Dresses
I agree with Macy's. I always find such nice stuff there. You could also try BRU (not sure where in NYC) but I was there last week and they had some pretty fall dresses.

Re: Dresses
Their is a store in Ridgewood, Queens called R & M Children's Boutique on Fresh Pond Road. They sell christening outfits and formal cloths aswell. Everything is imported and the cloths are so beautiful. Let me know if you want the exact address and I can get it for you.

I love that store - we actually bought my daughters christening outfit there and she already has about 10 dresses from there. My absolute favorite store - i second this!!

Re: Dresses
Good thing I dont live closer to that store because I think I would be their all the time. Not to mention the ladies that work their are so cute and think that everyone speaks italian.
What type of dress are you looking for?

Re: Dresses
Nothing too fancy. I'm a Bridesmaid (BM has a whole different meaning on this board ), and the dress is J-Crew. The bride is very chill and casual. I wanted something nice that will be comfortable in the outdoor ceremony at 3:00 and that will also last her through the Jewish holidays in September.
