Headaches galore! Need help

I'm almost at the 6 month mark and can't take the headaches anymore!!

I actually think with DD1, the pregnancy helped reduce the number of headaches I had dramatically. BUT, with DD2, I'm having headaches practically every day with this pregnancy.

I had cut out caffeine for both pregnancies. At my 4 month appointment, the OB told me to have a cup of caffeine rather than him prescribing stronger-than-tylonol meds for me. But they don't go away all the time and can last for days. They get to the point where they upset my stomach too.

Has anyone had to deal with this like me? Should I demand that the doc give me something? Any ideas on preventative measures?

When I get headaches I have a little more caffine then normal, a few extra glasses of water and two extra strength tylenol an hour or so later if it hasn't gone away yet. It usually helps.

If they are lasting for days, and your blood pressure is normal I would rediscuss a stronger medicine with your Dr

Try seeing a chiropractor. I am not pregnant yet but I have suffered from headaches and I hate taking medication. Chiropractic adjustments have helped me so much!

Thanks guys for the advice. I used to be very prone to headaches growing up but they subsided over the past few years. And now with DD#2 they've come back with a vengence. I know they will pass; it just sucks in the meantime....
