Which doctor do I see?
I need to go to the doc today b/c I have really bad head cold/possible sinus infection and may need some antibiotics.
Is this something that I call my ob for, or should I just go to the urgent care place like I usually do?
I'm just worried that it's an infection and I'm going on vacation for 5 days this weekend.

Which doctor do I see?
Im just getting over bronchitis and I went to my primary care doctor. The urgent care would be fine also, they know what pregnant woman can and cant take. Once I was diagnosed, I called my OB just to let him know. Feel better!

I guess either one would be fine. I think it'll be easier to to the urgent care since I can go after work and then just let my ob know what they perscribed.

Personally it is a PITA for me to get a "sick" appointment with my OB. The urgent care place is a mile from my house.
I would go to the urgent care place, they are dr's, they know what you can and can not have.

Re: Which doctor do I see?
I'd probably call my OB's office and see what they say. They might just send you to your primary but I would trust the OB's opinion on what you can take over a regular MD.

Re: Which doctor do I see?
I went to Premier Care in Bellmore and was in and out in 15 minutes! They were great, gave me a perscription, and I called my ob to make sure it was okay before taking.
I know I would have had to wait much longer at my ob's office!

Which doctor do I see?
I just went to primary doc today to start with. Based on the finding I asked if I should also see my OB. She said no need for now. The Doc was pregnant though so I felt like I got pretty comprehensive care :)

Re: Which doctor do I see?
i call my ob and they tell me whether i need to see the gp or whatever. for my first bout of bronchitis, they sent me to the gp who then sent me to the pulmonologist. but they had to check in with the ob to ok the meds they prescribed.
