Weight Gain - Urgh
I know people get upset when you complain about gaining weight, so ignore this post if this bothers you - but I feel like I'm going crazy. I don't mind my belly expanding or even my boobs, but my maternity pants from DS1 aren't fitting my legs because my thighs and rear are expanding rapidly! I need to exercise, I need to eat better (not less, just make better choices) - but I literally have no motivation. Every little thing overwhelms me right now, urgh! Thank you for listening...

Totally understand you. I don't mind the weight gain but I wish it would all go to my belly, instead it goes to my behind and inner thighs.

Re: Weight Gain - Urgh
I totally understand, most of my maternity clothes from when i was preggo with DD don't fit for DS, they are tight in all the wrong places. that's why I live in alot of Black yoga pants. I eat healthy, but can't exercise. Sometimes there's just nothing you can do about it. I'm just making the plan for when DS is born for what i'm going to do to get back into shape and focusing on that for now, since sometimes genetics plays a big part and there isn't much you can do. your body's gonna do what it needs to for your LO.

Re: Weight Gain - Urgh
i hear you I am about 4 lbs away from the weight that I was when I gave birth to DS - that number is the highest that I have ever been in my life. Granted, I have only gained a few lbs this pregnancy - soemthing in my head tells me that I CANNOT pass the number I know I likely will since I still have 3+ months to go but I am stuck on this number.
With my son, I gained 16lbs. I lost it all PLUS and then gained some back so I was about 12 lbs heavier when I got pregnant the second time as compared to the first.
I just cannot get past that "high" number. I know it doesnt matter when I gain because I have made a promise to myself to get into shape and lose weight/be healthy after this baby arrives (since she is our last) but it is HARD not to agonize and at 24w, I've only gained like 4lbs.
Actually, I've gained NOTHING since I am now the same weight that I was pre-preggo (lost in the 1st tri). Still I agonize about gaining 4 lbs

I know it's terrible to agonize about a number, but I'm with you on that... I will soon pass my highest weight which has some serious emotional significance for me. I also know the reality of having a newborn and now with DS1 too - I have no idea how I'll focus on getting myself back into shape...

Re: Weight Gain - Urgh
I know how you feel. My maternity pants from DD#1 are fitting me earlier with DD#2. I think my weight has redistributed, again. Just the fact that I don't want to go out and waste money on new maternity pants for the last month or 2 is giving me motivation to do some exercise. I actually woke up early today to do some prenatal yoga i found on the tv for free for the first time! I know everyone's body is different, but that's my motivation. Or is your first still small enough for a stroller? Why not go for a stroll with them to check out the holloween decorations around the block? Even something simple like that will get you moving. Hope this helps and good luck :)
