Cramping 38.5 weeks
Hey girls…so at my appt yesterday I was 2cm and 80-90% effaced. Had my normal spotting and cramping yesterday after my appt.
Been cramping on and off all day and it is getting worse. However it is pretty constant right now and cannot time it - just sharp pains sorta like period cramps but more of stabbing feeling. It is mostly in my lower abdomen. I am drinking lots of water to make sure it is not dehydration or anything.
Could this be the start of something? All of a sudden I feel clueless lol.

Cramping 38.5 weeks
It could be!! You say they're constant but does the pain get worse then slightly better without going away totally? If so I would time the space between the worst to the worst.
If you're not done packing I would finish up!! If the pain gets to intense and doesn't go away you might want to think about heading to l&d just to get checked out. The worst that could happen is they send you home.

I really dont know because for my first pregnancy my water broke first before i even had any contractions! but good luck!!

I think it was nothing or my body preparing. They stopped around 10pm or so. I will keep an eye on it.
