Just had an awful saline sono
I just had the saline sono for my Ivf cycle and it was awful! I have had it before and it was fine but this was so painful and made me bleed a lot! I had some sort of adhesion she was trying to break up so that was part of the problem. They also found a poylup at end of my tube. She seems to think she got the adhesion to break up but I am not feeling convinced. Waiting for them to call me. Do not want to do this Ivf cycle unless they are sure it is gone. Not feeling so optimistic today :(

Before my 2nd IVF attempt I went for a Saline sono and they found the SAME THINGS...Adhesions...tried to break them up in the office and I was crying hysterical on the table it hurt really badly...
Unfortunately, they were not able to break them all up so I had to have a Lysis of Adhesion Surgery (outpatient procedure) within the weeks ahead... the recovery for the surgery went well and i started my IVF cycle right after it...
Unfortunately, IVF #2 didnt work for me but IVF #3 did...
Im sorry you had the same experience but here is to hoping they got it ALL and that you have a successful cycle!!!
