PIO pain
I know this has been done overr and overr, but I have to ask. Any tips or tricks for PIO to avoid the muscle pain the morning after? The injection itself doesn't bother me, but when I wake up in the morning I can hardly move my leg. TIA!

Re: PIO pain
After you do the shot you have to massage the area for about 10 minutes so that the oil distributes into your body. I apply some heat after and massage. It does help.

PIO pain
I heated the area and the pio before I injected then my DH massaged it for like 3-5 min then I sat on a heating pad for another 10-15 min after...had no issues or bumps

Re: PIO pain
And try not to inject in the same spot or where the PIO "egg" is!

A knowledgable cat gave you that advice, I believe
This is really the best way. I have tried ice and had WELTS. Heat is the way to go!
