Carribean house rentals
Has anyone ever rented a great house in the Carribean? We would want something big so we could go with a couple of families. Obviously a safe area. We would want a private pool, access to a beach, close enough to restaurants and possibly even house staff (housecleaner, cook, etc...) We've been tossing the idea around for a few years with friends and I'm just trying to figure out if it's a great idea in theory, or in actuality.

We personally have not, but friends of ours have done so in Aruba and St. Maarten. I would say your best bet is Aruba with kids! Try VRBO, that's where they rented from. It had a pool and was within walking distance to the beach!

Casa de campo in La Romana Dominican Republic is a private huge community very safe and theu have a lot of different size houses. They all come with golf carts that you can take to the very nice private beach, marina and restaurants and shop
