Blister relief?
Everytime I wear new shoes- no matter how comfy they start out- they rub the heck out of my feet and give me blisters so bad that I can't wear shoes with backs for days. It doesn't help that I am not wearing any hosiery with the shoes either. I think when I wear tights in the winter it helps with this.
But- do they sell or make anything to prevent blisters and also to use on current blisters so I can wear my shoes even though I have a massive painful blister?
I remember a few years back they sold something that you rubbed on your foot - like a chapstick consistency and it was supposed to prevent the chaffing of the shoe. Do they still make that? Anyone use it?

Re: Blister relief?
I do what dancers do. Pop those babies with a sterile pin and put some antiseptic on it. As for preventing, I wish i knew. I always get blisters with new shoes too

Re: Blister relief?
The drugstores now sell what are band-aids for blisters. I know I always have a box at home. They're by Johnson & Johnson and they are made of cushiony, flexible fabric with antibiotics to help not only protect, but heal the blister. OMG they are a life-saver! You can find them where the band-aids are. They also still sell those roll on's that you can put on your feet to help with the blisters.

Re: Blister relief?
Yep...they sell these band aid type blister pads. I bought them for Disney, just in case (of course my DH thought they were necessary & guess who was the only one who needed them ). he said they worked awesome in protecting them. I also bought this balm stuff you just rub in your skin, like a chap stick. I did that the day I wore my walking sandals, just in case, & had no rubbing. So I plan to try it next time I wear sock less shoes.

Blister relief?
I read somewhere to rub solid deodorant on your foot to prevent blisters. I don't wear many shoes with backs, but i do use the deodorant trick on the tops of my feet with flip flops or sandals. Works great. For existing blisters or irritation, try Moleskin, you can cut it to fit the area.

I just bought this yesterday. I cut the back of my foot last week and reopened it this week with shoes. I had band aids on and they slipped and have a cut again.
Can this be done on a cut already or just wait until they heal?

Re: Blister relief?
Target sells these up&up blister guards (in the bandaid aisle) they are really great! I'm wearing them right now because of a bad new shoe experience
