ultrasound pic (posting for a friend)
My BFF is also pregnant. She's 20w5d along. I'm not sure why, but her sonogram tech wasn't willing to give her a guess of the baby's gender. Shouldn't she have been able to tell gender by now? Anyway, I'm posting here in case any of you have any guesses... boy or girl? We both have no idea what to look for.
We're trying to figure out if my baby girl is gonna have a best friend or a boyfriend lol Image Attachment(s):

the sono tech might not have guessed if the baby was in the wrong position or covering his/her parts. Otherwise, yes - they should've been able to tell.
As for a guess, i have no idea ... i'm usually good at these things but i don't even know what i'm looking at in this pic

Re: ultrasound pic (posting for a friend)
looks like a to me
has she had a level II? they should be able to tell by this point unless the baby was in a position that made it difficult

i'm not exactly sure either, but we think the baby parts are exactly to the left of the tiny white circle spot right in the middle of the sonogram (not sure if that helps)

Re: ultrasound pic (posting for a friend)
That's not a great pic. It looks like it's the right angle, but it's hard to tell if the cord or a hand/foot is in the way.
If she wants to know, there are ultrasound centers she can go to for an elective u/s.
