I start taking clomid tonight and was wondering about others success rate with it??

It depends what you define success is.
Clomid is successful for many women - meaning that it helps them to ovulate when they don't.
Some women get pregnant on clomid, others don't.
I already ovulated before going on Clomid but tried it for 2 months. I only ever produced 1 follie on it and did not get pregnant on it. The 2nd month it made me get a terrible migraine so I moved onto injectables after that month.

It's so different for everyone. My problem, was not ovulating on my own. Clomid was my solution twice. I have a 5 year old son and now pregnant with twins thanks to it!

I took Clomid for 7 cycles. It did not work for me. Everyone if different. I hope that this works for you!!

Clomid worked for me 2 times...I have PCOS and don't ovulate on my own.
I'm on my 3rd time trying and have 3 follicles today!

i only tried it once, i have PCOS, but it didn't help me produce mature follicles so i went right to injectables. good luck!

I got pregnant with my DS on my first round of Clomid - 50mg, CD3-7.
I am currently TTC#2 and am in the middle of a 50mg Clomid cycle. I had a 19.5mm and 19mm follicles this morning. Just gave myself trigger shot and have back to back IUIs tomorrow.
I have PCOS so my problem was that i dont ovulate and Clomid worked for me to fix that.

Thanks everyone for your stories! Is it possible to feel some cramping or tingling after the first day of starting clomid?? I am feeling a little crampy and have some weird tingling feelings...not painful but sometimes a little uncomfortable. I am starting fertility yoga next week..hoping that helps with the stress as I work with Deaf-Blind adults with and without mental health...very stressful!! My Dr. wants to try this plan for 3-6 months then we may have to talk surgery as the HSG showed a possible blocked tube. Lots of prayers!!

i took 50mg's days 3-7. I never had a problem ovulating, but have high fsh. Figured we'd try it before moving on.
i produced 4 mature follicles.
It was my 1st cycle of clomid and my last. Got my bfp that cycle.

Because Clomid stimulates the ovaries to ovulate, I think the twinge and tingle is normal. Are you doing Clomid with TI, or iui?
next time you go to your Dr. just check and see if your amount of tingling is normal. Are you seeing an RE?

i was on Clomid for 5 cycles.
I have PCOS and did 50mg of Clomid for 2 cycles, 100mg for 2 cycles and then 150mg for one cycle. We got pregnant via IUI on the last cycle.

Are you working with an OB or an RE? I strongly suggest only taking clomid while under the care of an RE since you need to be closely monitored. I would also not recommend taking clomid for more than 3 cycles since it can thin your lining. If clomid doesn't work, you can try femara. There are also injectables.
Also, another option if you have a blocked tube, is to try IVF (if that's financially an option for you) since that bypasses the tubes.

Clomid was a miracle drug for me. I didn't have any ovulation problems but possible egg quality issues and otherwise unexplained IF. After over a year of IF and 2 unmedicated IUI cycles without success, I got PG on every Clomid/IUI cycle (3 times - 1 miscarriage and 2 beautiful children). Good luck!

Clomid for me but I needed a high dosage 250 mg. I have two little girls because of clomid/iui cycles.
