When do they test for GD?
At what week is this typically done?
My Dr. hasn't mentioned anything yet - so i'm just wondering...

Mine was at 24 weeks...although I feel like it was kind of early. I know a lot of other women that did it later.

My OB told me to go between 24-28 weeks. I'll be 25 weeks when I go this Saturday.

Usually 26-28w unless you're high risk for GD. I am, so I'll be tested twice - 20w which I had already, and again at 28w.

Don't be scared, if you do get GD then it's a dietary routine and unfortunately insulin. My SIL had it with both of her pregnancies and it was not a huge deal for her. She actually ended up losing 35lbs while pregnant due to the meal plan they put her on. Don't be worried it's just something some people have to deal with to have their babies! My mom had it as well.....
ETA: Symptoms of GD are
Extreme thirst
Blurred Vision
Fatigue
Frequent infections, UTI, Bladder, Yeast, ETC....
increased urination
Nausea/vomiting
Weight loss

Mine was at 22 weeks but they did it early do to risk factors but typically btw 24-28 weeks.
