Looks like home will be...
Right on the border of Babylon and West Islip! We're almost there! Just waiting on a closing date. 
So tell me...where can I find the best:
Pizza
Chinese
Bagels
What about a nail salon? Does anyone live in the area and have a recommendation?
We drove around a bunch to get a feel for the area so at least we know where the nearest post office, supermarkets, and 7-11 is!!! That last one is for FH!

YAY! Sounds like you are right by me :)
Pizza - so far I like Cafe Europa the best. It's in the same shopping center as the dollar store, bagel place, etc.
Bagels - we love the place right next to Flavorcrisp on Higbie Lane
Nail salon - I can't help you! I've gone to 4 in the immediate area and wasn't too thrilled with any of them. So I'm still hunting lol
Chinese - Long River right on Union - across from stop and shop. Food is yummy!

Looks like home will be...
I only have recommendations for Babylon Village - For bagels, Babylon Bagel; pizza, Ginos - both on Deer Park Ave right in the Village. Chinese - Imperial Orchid, on Deer Park Ave about 1 mile north of the rail road tracks and for nails, Barbi Nails in the little shopping center on the south side of Main St where Mulberry Street Italian restaurant is located.

We are in West Islip. We use Long River for chinese, The bagel store in the King Kullen shopping center, and pizza from either Italianos in Best Yet shopping center or Little Italy on Union in 7-11 shopping center.
For nails I use a lady in Babylon who does it out of her home. I recently tried the new salon on Higbie by RR tracks and it was nice/seemed clean and very busy.

Mulberry Street Pizza by far the best.
Chinese - mushrooms in west babylon. Pricey but delicious.
Island Grill - west babylon mexican place that delivers. The food delicious & cheap.
nail salon....cant really pick one. there are alot of decent ones, havent found one I love yet.
Hair salons - Posh/ Studio. both on montauk hwy.
Best Martinis - Argyle grill - apple/watermelon are my fav
Bagel Store - on montauk hwy, in lindy next to wendys. we have tried a bunch this one is our favorite.
I love my babylon village :)

Looks like home will be...
Chinese -- Imperial Orchid (I want to bathe in their egg drop soup!)
Nails -- I've tried a bunch of places and the one I like the best is Best Nails on DPA slightly north of Imperial Orchid in the shopping center with Mangia (Italian restaurant).
Haven't found a great bagel place yet. I always had Bagel Boss in Islip growing up and I find nothing compares to it!
Italian -- Cafe Gio has awesome lunch specials (meatball sub and side of pasta for $5) and very good food!
