CD 14 and vent
I went for my monitoring this morning, CD 14, and all seems to be going well. I am doing a 50mg clomid cycle. I have one 18.5mm follie, a 16.5, and a 13. They want me to come back tomorrow for another monitoring as they'd like the follicle at least 20 for trigger.
ETA: And my lining was at 10. Yay!
The vent part is: I go to LI-IVF plainview (which they are closing down after this week). Their morning monitoring hours are 6:30am-8am. I usually get there around 6:20am because i need to get to work. On Friday, the Dr did not show up until 7:30am so they did not start doing sonos until then. Today, the phlebotomist did not show up - everyone was trying to figure out what to do, and by 7am, they had only taken 1 person in so far. Does anyone go to their Lake Success branch - is it any better? Is this the norm for it to take an hour for morning monitoring when its a 1 min blood draw and 2 minute sono?! It's bad enough being late to work - but this makes me ridiculously late.
Can't wait to go back tomorrow and wait *sigh*. And I'll probably have to take a half day on Thurs for the IUI. And of course i have a new person in my dept. starting today who i'm supposed to be working with all week - and i'm going to be late practically everyday!

Re: CD 14 and vent
ugh...sorry you had to deal with all that!
I go to the Melville office...there was only two times where there was an incredible wait...one was on a saturday where there was a lot of people there and the other the computers were down and somebody didnt show up...other than that, they are fairly quick. I get in by 6:45-ish and i'm out by 7/7:15.
I've never been to the lake success office for monitoring, so I cannot comment on that.
good luck!

CD 14 and vent
I had to go back today for monitoring, and the phlebotomist said that she was told over a month ago to go to a different office yesterday by her boss - and the boss forgot and sent no one else to cover Plainview.
Today i was there 6:15 am (one other person there already), and they took in first person for blood around 6:42. It still bothers me that they state their monitoring hours start 6:30am, but no one is ever ready at 6:30am to see a patient.
AC - thanks for the info - i will be going to Melville going forward since plainview's last day of operation is tomorrow. I went there on Sunday and it wasn't too bad (although, the front desk lady seemed pretty grouchy). I travel to westchester for work (start time 7:30am) so Melville is the opposite direction, but hopefully it will be quicker than what i've been experiencing.
On the bright side, i have a 19.5mm and 19mm follie and lining 10.4. I go back tomrorow to monitor again, and hopefully they'll tell me to trigger tomorrow night and schedule iui. Here's hoping for BFP so i dont have to stress out waiting every morning.
