flu shot for DH?
i got my flu shot a few days ago. Dr recommended that DH gets it too but honestly, i just don't see the point 
i'm "safe" from the flu, and the baby will get some of that immunization from me now, so what's the benefit in DH being immunized? I mean, if DH does happen to get sick, aren't Baby and I safe anyhow?
I'm sure I'm missing something here ... please help me figure out what.

flu shot for DH?
I was told that getting the Flu shot doesnt mean you wont get sick, its definitely helpful but its not a guarantee... i think its just an extra precaution to have your DH get it too.

Oh heck yes!!! He got that and the pertussis. It's called "cocooning" the baby and trying to protect everyone around the baby from getting sick to keep the baby from getting sick.

It helps prevent at you will carry and pass it on so he should have it so he doesn't pass it to you or the baby. My dh hasn't had it and (knock on wood) hasn't had the flu in so long so he is afraid to jinx himself and get the shot lol

YES-my DH got his Flut shot at his doctors office a few weeks ago. My OB told me today I have to get mine soon; they recommend it for anyone with a newborn in the house so your DH shoudl get one.

My OB told me that not only do I and DH need to get the flu shot, but anyone else who is going to be helping with the baby (ex: grandparents).

This!!!
Plus, as you progress in your pregnancy, you will need more and more help doing things. Having your husband laid up in bed for a week means you'll have to do all the cooking, cleaning, laundry AND take care of him. Not the best idea of a pregnant woman!
