We had our last ultrasound last night ...
My girl is measuring 6lbs 9 oz already .. I still have ~3 weeks to go. The technician said she'll gain about .5 lb each week so does that mean my girl will be over 8 pounds?

Beware of these "weights" from the ultrasounds. They told me at my last appointment at 38 weeks that my baby was already over 9 lbs....she was born at 40 weeks at 7lbs, 11 oz. They are not always accurate.

We had our last ultrasound last night ...
They are definitely not always accurate. At my 36 week appt. the tech said he was measuring around 6 lbs 9 oz. and that he would be anywhere between 8 and 8 1/2 lbs at birth. I went 2 days over my due date and he was born at 6 lbs 13 oz. definitely smaller than we all thought he was going to be.

We had our last ultrasound last night ...
I had an ultrasound last week at almost 36 weeks and was told my baby is measuring at approximately 6 lbs, 10 oz. The tech said she could likely be up to 8.5 lbs if I deliver close to my due date. That seems big to me, so I'm actually hoping they were off a bit and not quite so big. DH on the other hand is hoping for a chubby baby, so he's excited about that weight prediction.

There's a 1.5 lb margin or error on those sonos... my midwife didn't do them, but friends that had growth sonos had mixed results.

We had our last ultrasound last night ...
I had am ultrasound with DS at 31w6d and the tech told me he was 4lb12oz +/-7oz. He was born at exactly 33 weeks and was 4lb11oz. So they can definitely be off with the weights.

I agree. They kept telling me my DD would be well over ten pounds and she was born at 8lbs 8oz.
