Lake george or Saratoga in October?
Any suggestions for excellent accommodations for a weekend? No kids, 2 adults. Which place has better restaurants?
Years ago I went to lake George every summer but it was when my son was little so I haven't been there in years.

Saratoga is beautiful. I was there in the dead cold of January and loved it. I can only imagine it in October!

We are staying at the Gideon Putnam Hotel in Saratoga for a weekend in October - we have heard such wonderful things, we have a wedding to attend while there, and we just cannot wait!!!

Lake george or Saratoga in October?
The Sagamore on Lake George is absolutely gorgeous. It's North of the actual town of Lake George (it's in a town called Bolton Landing) but it's breathtaking. It's still on the lake itself and there is a ton to do on the property. You really can't go wrong no matter where you go. That whole area is just so nice no matter what season. Have fun wherever you decide to go!
