Does anyone have a skirt on a crib with a drawer?
I was going to get the crib skirt that matches the bedding that I have but was wondering if it will cover the drawer that is underneath the crib. Any experience with this?
if it helps, its the cocalo jacana bedding from BBB or BRU.
TIA!

Skip the crib skirt. It doesn't hit the floor when the crib is on the highest setting and it's a PITA when you're changing sheets or lowering the crib.

That makes sense... I actually don't want it to cover the drawer... I just hate that you can see what's in the drawer when you walk in the room now.

Re: Does anyone have a skirt on a crib with a drawer?
I had a crib skirt so you couldn't see in the drawer when the crib was raised. But that only lasted a few months and when we lowered the crib we had to take the skirt off. However, our crib converts to a toddler bed so I am hoping the use the skirt again then. Hang in there!!!

I used the crib skirt when the crib was raised, once it got lowered down we got rid of the crib skirt.

I have a crib skirt that has always been used - whether in the top or bottom position. Never had a problem with changing sheets or otherwise.
It's been on for 6 years now with no problem and I am going to use it for #3. It does cover the drawer but I have never found it to be an issue. I like the way it completes the look of the room.

i used the skirt when the mattress was at the higher settings but now that its at the lowest setting we stopped using it so it doesn't block the drawer.

Re: Does anyone have a skirt on a crib with a drawer?
I have the crib skirt on my crib with a drawer underneath. DS is just shy of 7 months, and I have the crib on the lowest setting. For me, the drawer is a lifesaver, it gives me the extra room to store sheet and blankets, etc. I don't find the crib skirt gets in the way, I just lift it up for the few times I go into the drawer to get a clean sheet or something. For me, it makes the bedding set complete ..
