mucus plug question...

What does it look like, and how much is there?? does it usually come along with cramping??

My due date is on Sunday, and I think I might have just lost my mucus plug, but I have no idea what it's supposed to look like, so I am second guessing myself! and i've been cramping all morning...

mucus plug question...

It looks like snot to be perfectly honest. Like mucousy snot. My water broke and then when I went to the bathroom I went to wipe and a long piece of mucous was on the tissue. Later at the hospital I went to pee before I laid down and I saw the rest of it in the toilet.
